| Ron Harris the owner of Your Dent Guy has been in the automotive reconditioning business for over 12 years. Considered a master Detailer and finish care expert Ron found the opportunity to learn the craft that is Paintless Dent Repair his next challenge. During the year 2000 Ron underwent 5 weeks of training learning the art and craft that is Paintless Dent Repair. Ron repairs small to large and complex dents for local Auto Body shops in San Antonio as well as surrounding areas and is considered to be one of the best in the state. How it Started In 1996 Ron left a top position with a local southern California trucking company to start his mobile detailing business. After the first year he was servicing over 80 regular clients each week with two service trucks. At the request of Ron's father in law Joe he visited San Antonio in January of 2004. Joe wanted to move the family here because he liked the Hill Country so much. That same year on Easter Sunday Joe passed away due to complications from a brain tumor. Ron and his family made the move with out him to San Antonio during the July 4th weekend. The first year was very tough for Ron and his family. Ron's service van was broken into during the night and all his tools were stolen and business just wasn't coming in like he expected it to. Ron's wife Candice had to take a job at a local store to help with the bills and he had to sell one of his prized cars a 59 ford Galaxie that his great grandfather purchased new to keep a roof over their heads. Five years later and God has blessed Ron and his family with a thriving business a new home and a bright future here in San Antonio. |
